Over 5 years ago, Julie Mountain and her team took over a cosy, cellar based restaurant and have since transformed it into one of the most talked about eateries in Ilkley! With a friendly welcome, honest service and a rustic dining experience; Julie and her team are on-hand to ensure you enjoy your visit to Café J.

Situated on The Grove in the heart of Ilkley; Café J offers an intimate and cosy dining experience, with an open fire and envious outdoor barbeque terrace all adding to the atmosphere!
Café J provides its customers with something a little bit different; affordable food, a  generous plateful and everything is home cooked by Isabella, the Portuguese cook who has been with Café J right from the very beginning. Isabella has worked all over the world and her rustic, worldly fusions and exquisite flavourings have made Café J something of a talking point with the people of Ilkley.

Café J offers a daytime menu and hosts themed nights once a month, with live music, set themed menus and a fully licensed bar until 2am. Private dining, parties, celebrations and intimate weddings can all be catered for.

So whether it’s a quiet afternoon tea on the terrace or a lively sing-a-long to Elvis, Café J offers something for everyone; but more importantly an affordable, mouth-watering menu which will leave you coming back for more!
